The Atlas Mountains

As we traveled across the mountains and desert of Morocco, I asked our Photo Guide a question:

“Do you have any suggestions for taking photos from a moving vehicle?”

Our guide rolled his eyes, smiled, shook his head and continued listening to his music.  I assume he meant “fat chance.”

Of course we are aware of the obstacles to getting good photos in that situation: dirty windows, bumpy roads, inability to plan, and an assortment of objects suddenly disturbing the field of vision – telephone poles, power lines, road signs, trees .

Well, our driver kept the windows clean and I was counting on some good luck.
