The Kingdom of Denmark

Copenhagen, the capital city  

A lovely city …

A bright city …

A colorful city …

A walkable city …

A modern city …

A traditional city …

And yet, a city where anything goes?

Everyone knows what the “Red Light District” implies.

Here in Copenhagen we find the “Green Light District!”

Something illicit here?

“Green” for a particular variety of plant?

Middle aged men sip a beer and smoke fat brown cigarettes.  Visitors score the sweet smell of tolerance.

As the sign says:

Dear Friends

There are three rules in the Green Light District:

Have Fun.

Don’t run - it causes panic.

No photos – Buying and Selling Hash is still illegal.
